The battery has an automatic shutoff if you use it for more than 7 consecutive seconds.  It will then stay off for approximately one-and-a-half to two minutes.  This is to prevent overheating of the atomizer and battery.  So if you are taking long drags and your battery keeps cutting out, this is what is happening.
